Cheryl Lynn Young

Cheryl Lynn Young, age 49 of Byron Center, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barb (VanderMeer) Gillette.  She will be greatly missed by her husband, Brian Young; her son, Brandon Young; daughter, Kristin (Jon) Thompson; father, Ryan Gillette; brothers, Mike (Nancy) Gillette, Mark (Cami) Gillette; sister, Michelle (Roger) Hindenach; nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Cathy Young; sister-in-law, Colleen (Phil) Hurd. Cheryl was a graduate of Rogers High School and was an employee at Keebler for 25 plus years. Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood with Rev. Dennis Gilbert presiding. The family will meet relatives and friends Saturday 12 noon to 1pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
