Charlotte Jean Krekel

Charlotte Krekel, age 75, of Grand Rapids, passed away on October 30, 2022. Charlotte was a kind, gentle woman who loved to cook, garden, and go skiing. Above all she enjoyed being with others, and loved to help them, working as a nurse for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kurt and Ortha Krekel; and her son, Kipp Krekel. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dustin Cushman, Ashley Tilltson; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; her siblings, JoAnn Maki, Ilsa Monville, Sonia Astle; and many nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society.
