VANDER ZEE - Mr. Charles VanderZee, aged 57, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. He preceded in death by his father, William Charles VanderZee; lifelong companion and friend, Phyllis Lorraine Kelly. Surviving are his children, Laura (Rollie) Dulyea, Michael (April) Gates, Roy (Jill) Gates; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ryan), Stephanie, Jeff, Steven, Gregory, Kaitlynn, Alison, Lily, Kristen, Silas, Isah, Dylan; great grandchild, Arianna; mother, Joyce (Irv Bullman) VanderZee; brothers, William "Bill" VanderZee, David (Laurie) VanderZee, Duane (Pamela) VanderZee, Bruce VanderZee; sister, Joy (Gary Penock) VanderZee; uncle, Larry (Linda) VanderZee; several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 16 at Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. The family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
