Charles “Mike” Michael Petree

Petree, Charles Michael "Mike" Charles Michael “Mike” Petree, aged 56 of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Petree and Ina Southerland; brothers, Paul, Jimmy, Donny, Tommy, Richard, Dale; and sisters, Ann and Celia. Mike will be dearly missed by his wife, Linda; son, Donny (Sonia) Petree; daughter, Lisa (Bill) VanDyke; grandchildren, Cody, Michael, Mikayla, Donny Jr., and Ethan; great-granddaughter, Abigail; brothers, Jeff Petree, Terry Southerland; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mike loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking around with family and friends. He was an avid sports fan and loved to root for the Tigers and Lions. A funeral service for Mike will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and also on Thursday from 12-1 pm prior to the service.
