Charles J. Merryman, 72, of Wayland, formerly of Shelbyville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24th 2016. He was preceded in death by his father Charles, his mother, Lucille and his brother, Edward. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kevin and Margaret, Jesse and Anne, Sara and Jeffrey, Christopher, Noah, Matthew and Stephanie; his sisters, Ella and Richard Carr and Charlene VanZoeren; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a large extended family. Family and friends are invited to join us for a casual memorial get together at Wedgewood Park in Grandville on Saturday, July 30th from 3:30pm-7pm.

Chuck will be greatly missed by me, he spent his holidays with me and his son Noah as he loved my cooking. I can't even begin to imagine our holidays without him, they definitely will not be the same as he will always be missing to us.
