Charles Engle

Engle - Charles Mark Engle aged 92, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris "Maxine" and his son, Larry. Surviving are his children, Sue Engle-Smith, Barbara Knapp, Cheryl (Donald) Miller, Karen (Jim) McKeown; daughter-in-law, Vivian Engle; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, 9 great great grand children; brothers-in-law, Charles (Ruth) Hinkley, Bernard Hinkley; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Engle was a Veteran of the US Army serving during WWII. Mark was a lifetime member of the DAV, and the VFW post #4249. He retired from Steelcase after 17 years of service. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S Division Ave. His family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 5 to 8PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
