Charles Buursma

Buursma- Charles Jay Buursma aged 70 passed away Sunday July 19, 2015. Surviving are his wife, Patty Buursma; children, Drew (Peggy) Buursma, Jill (Tony) Chan; grandchildren, Nick Buursma, Tom Buursma, Ryan Chan, Karilyn Chan; step children, Kelli (Jason) Burri, Matt Huston; step grandchildren Emma & Lauren Burri; brother, Bill (Cheryl) Buursma; sister, Sue (Rob) Frizzo. Charles was the Director of Facilities/Maintenance at Cascade Engineering. In his free time he was an avid sailor and a member of Anchorage Marina of Holland. He enjoyed the outdoors no matter the season. He was an avid hunter and looked forward to snowmobiling in the winter. Chuck will be remembered as a hard worker, but most of all for the love of his family. His family will greet relatives and friends Friday July 24, from 1 to 3 PM and 5 to 7 PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr., Belmont.
