BROWN - Mr. Charles F. Brown Jr., aged 84 of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Jr.,; daughter, Sherry; grandson, Dontarie Minter; former wife, Lottie Brown; sister, Norma Lee Jackson. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Jane; children, Diane Minter, Barbara Stewart, Donald Brown, Carolyn (Dennis) Audain, Denise Mickens, Anthony (Marsha) Brown, Nicole Brown; 11 grandchildren, including his special twins, Alyssa and Alexis; 28 great grandchildren; sisters, Edna Collins and Barbara Brown; and a host of family and friends. A time of gathering will be held from 2 to 4PM Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S.
