December 15, 2020

Chad Grayling Cole, age 58, of Middleville, passed away unexpectedly and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Chad was a loving brother and uncle who was blessed with a great sense of humor. He grew up in Wyoming and graduated from Wyoming Park High School. Chad continued to live in the West Michigan area and was currently working at Lite Loads Asphalt. Over the years, he was gifted with an entrepreneur spirit developing many products and services. Chad, along with his father and brother Rob, had a passion for snowmobile racing. Many friendships were made at the racetrack on the weekends. Above all, he had a great love of his country and was protective of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert George and Marie Cole. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Joie Shelton, Georgi Hall, Robert George Cole II; nephews, John and Alaina Hall, Joel Hall, Jordan and Ashley Hall; great-nieces and nephews, Tristen, Taylor, Braylie, Nate, Charlie; special family friend, Shelby Cole; numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, December 23, from 3-4 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Due to our current environment with Covid-19, a private family service will be held at 4 pm following the visitation. The service will also be available via livestream at www.mkdfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given to consider the needs of the family.

Chad is going to greatly missed by his friends here at Lite Loads. You go through life and every so often you get to meet someone like Chad. He was so interesting to talk with on so many different subjects, just an interesting person with so much knowledge. He was an excellent worker who had things organized and knew his stuff. He will be greatly missed here. We also know we will see him again and his faith and belief in Jesus Christ is a comfort. RIP and enjoy Christmas in Heaven. Well see you when we get there too!!

Chad will forever hold a special place in my heart! I always looked forward to our calls, chats or texts. And was looking forward to meeting up and catching up with him since I just got back home to Michigan. He was very protective like a big brother to me but also a very special friend. Need a smile, pick me up, health info, help with anything....Chad was always there. RIP Chad. Love you and will miss you always. Sending prayers to the family as well
