Chad Ayers, age 40, of Jenison, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 15 ½ years, Natalie (Gerbers); daughter, Morgan; parents, Rick Ayers and Christine Miller; sister, Amanda Cobb; grandpa, William Ayers. in-laws, father and mother, Lon and Rose Gerbers; sister-in-law, Danielle and Kurt Schmiege, brothers-in-law, Shawn and Ashley Gerbers, Curt and Jamie Gerbers; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandma, Jerilyn Ayers. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor Shawn Gerbers officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 9:30-11 am at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to a charity of one’s choosing.

Chad was a great person with such a big heart. Seeing him everyday, meant it was always a good day! Loved to show off his ninja skills with foam nunchucks. We love you, Chad.

Dear sweet Chad, we are saddened by your passing. We have known and loved you since you were born. You were a beautiful boy, a wonderful man, father and husband and you are missed terribly.
