Celeste Grasman

Grasman - Celeste A. Grasman (Varano, Clark) of Kentwood, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Clark; grandparents, Genevieve and John Warner, Frieda and Peter A. Varano. Celeste is survived by her parents, Peter and Madelyn Varano; brothers, Brian (Sandra) Varano, Greg (Kathy) Varano; sister, Colleen (Ken) Vermeer; best friend Cheryl Jones; step-granddaughter, Jessica Clark; step-great granddaughter, Olivia Jackson; nieces and nephews, Hollie, Jami, Megan Varano, Peter (Sharon), Michael (Kristian), Maria, Jenna, Nikolas Varano; Katie Vermeer; faithful rescue companion, Fergie. Her educational pursue began at Olivet College, Olivet, MI and closing with a degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley University, Allendale, MI. Celeste's career was in the Medical Management field, serving as in the capacities of Operations Manager, Office Manager and Instructor. She was a true asset to her employers with the wealth of knowledge she shared with staff and physicians. Celeste's love of music led her to membership with Grand Rapids Symphonic Band and private instruction for flute and piano students. Those fortunate enough to know her, quickly learned what lit the spark in her eyes, granddaughter, Jessica and great granddaughter, Olivia (Bug). No words could truly express the thankfulness Celeste's personal caregivers would like to give to Hospice of Michigan. We are extremely grateful for the care and support of her Hospice care team provided by Donna, Jeff, Deb, Kim, Sue G., Cheryl, Linda and Ken. It was Celeste wish that no services take place.
