Catherine T. Fodor

Catherine T. Fodor, age 88, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 27, 2019. She was a loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma who cherished her family.  Catherine worked at the Community Bakery as a cake decorator for 12 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William James (Bala) Fodor; and daughter-in-law, Leah Fodor.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren, Mary and James Allen (James and Allison Abbott), Joseph and Millie Fodor (Amber and Kenneth Jonsson, Ben Austen, Aleigha and Daniel Gonzalez, Moira Fodor, Bala Fodor), Catherine and Lee Vasquez (Jenny and Chris Dondzila, Amanda and Shane Wurm, Jason and Alyssa Vasquez, Arica Vasquez), William Fodor Jr. (Brice Fodor); 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Fodor; sister-in-law, Maxine Meyer; brother-in-law, Ronald Woodburn; and several nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 1, at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 1630 Godfrey Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Stephen Dudek presiding.  Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. with a Rosary to be held at 8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive.  An additional visitation will be held on Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Medilodge of Wyoming or Holy Name of Jesus Parish.
