Catherine “Kay” M. Farquhar

Catherine M. “Kay” Farquhar, aged 96, of Grandville passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and four siblings.  She is survived by her daughter, Carol Farquhar (Deb Shimmel); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ionia Shelley, Elaine (Tad) Jameson, Anna Mahoney, William (Marcia) Farquhar; and several loving cousins, nieces and nephews.  The Mass of Christian Burial for Kay will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW with Rev. Mike Alber officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the church from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Kindred Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
