Casey Patrick Norburg

Casey Patrick Norburg, age 30, of Belmont, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Casey was a kind and loving son and brother who had a huge heart for others and was blessed with a strong work ethic. He was an animal lover of all kinds, but had a special place for dogs. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Carol Norburg; father, Paul Norburg; his sister, Heather and Jeff Rodriguez of South Dakota; his birth mother, Debbie Smoot; his half sisters, Alazia Bandoian and Amari Arredondo; his grandparents, Norma and Milt Pott; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Assumption BVM Church, 6390 Belmont Ave NE, Belmont, with Fr. Tony Pelak presiding. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-8 pm at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr., Belmont and one hour prior to Mass at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to help offset funeral expenses.
