Carolyn Shannon

Carolyn Marie Shannon, aged 53, was born July 29, 1965 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and passed away unexpectedly at home on October 20, 2018. She was the youngest daughter of George and Betty Wimbley. Carol was educated in the Kalamazoo Public School District and attended Davenport University where she earned her Associate's Degree in business. While attending Kalamazoo Public Schools, Carol met James Shannon and they remained friends until they married on August 24, 2001. James, who she referred to as "Shannon", started a beautiful family whom she left to cherish her memories: her daughter, Taelor; her sons, Kaleb, Kobe, and Chandler; and her pet dog, Jack, who will miss her dearly, but hope to see her later. Celebration services will be Friday, October 26, 2018 located at 4646 Kalamazoo Ave, SE Kentwood, MI 49508. Carolyn will lie in repose from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm with services beginning at 1:00pm.
