Carolyn Homminga

HOMMINGA- Carolyn Joan Homminga, aged 75 passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margo Goodridge; brothers, Leo and Alan VanderHoef. Surviving is her husband of 32 years, Gerald; children, Lisa (Michael) Freiburger, Lori (Kent) Gruber, Scott (Gina) Homminga, Patricia Homminga; grandchildren, Nicholas Freiburger, Erin Freiburger, Jason Gruber, Alex Gruber, Kyle Gruber, Rachael Homminga, Abbey Homminga. Carolyn was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church and of the Junior Diet Kitchen Guild at Butterworth Hospital. She was an avid reader, bridge player, and loved working crossword puzzles. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 27, 2018 at Rockford United Methodist Church, 159 Maple St. NE, Rockford, MI.
