Horjus, Carolee Carolee Horjus, age 75, of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Horjus; grandson, Matthew McKinney. She will lovingly be remembered by her children, Laura and Steven Haas, David and Nancy Horjus, Mary and Larry DeBoer, Michael Horjus; sister, Janet Riolo; grandchildren, Joseph, Jessica (Cody) Zuiderveen, Caleb Horjus, Heather (Phil) Autsema, Nicholas DeBoer, Marcie Rosema, Brad (Rachael) DeBoer, Casey, Chloe Horjus; great grandchildren, Abigail, Anna Ryker, Faythe DeBoer; brother-in-law, Marvin (Ruth) Horjus. Funeral services for Carolee will be held Saturday 3 pm at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo SE , with Reverend George Aupperlee officiating. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home 2-3 pm on Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of her grandson, Matthew McKinney to West Michigan Teen Challenge 440 Pontaluna Road, Muskegon Michigan 49440.
