Carole TenHarmsel

Carole Lynn TenHarmsel, age 79, of Byron Center, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Myrtle Breeding; and grandson, Levi Markus TenHarmsel. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark and Roberta TenHarmsel, Chad TenHarmsel; grandson, Wyatt TenHarmsel; sister, Sheila and Dave Cobb; and nieces, Emily Cobb and Jenny Cobb. Carole will be missed for her genuine caring heart. She loved serving others whether through her church food pantry, women’s ministry groups, or simply being in prayer for her friends and family. She was greatly involved in Beginning Experiences, a support group which allowed her to help divorced or widowed individuals. Carole enjoyed knitting many things including scarves and potholders. She loved being a mother to her boys. She cherished spending time with family, holiday get-togethers and babysitting her grandson, Wyatt. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at noon, at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 0-60 Port Sheldon SW, Grandville, with Rev. Gerry Koning officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Trinity Christian Reformed Church.
