Carol Jeanne Leigh

Carol Jeanne Leigh, age 81, of Wyoming, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Highhouse. Carol will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Oscar “Bill” Leigh; daughter, Laura Baudine and her husband, Andrew Hooks; nieces, Dawn Highhouse and Megan DeVries; sister-in-law, Janice Highhouse. Carol was a wonderful and loving wife to Oscar and a wonderful and caring mother to her daughter, Laura. Carol graduated from Grand Rapids Central High School in 1959 and she retired from the city of Kentwood’s assessor's office. In her spare time, Carol loved to participate in various forms of fitness activities, spending time with her dog, Pogo, and she loved socializing with her neighbors and friends. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
