Carol Jean Fletcher

Carol Jean Fletcher, age 81, of Jenison, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 7, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas; and sister, Joanne. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy and Kathy Fletcher, Rich Fletcher; grandchildren, Crystal Dittoe, Miranda, Monica and partner Jorge, and D. Fletcher; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Kay and Dave Reynhout, Lin and Mike Wurth.

Carol was born and raised in Grand Rapids with her parents and three sisters. Many summers were spent at the family cottage enjoying everything outdoors. She was a pediatric heart condition survivor and was one of the youngest successful open heart surgery patients in Grand Rapids. She and Tom continued to spend many summers with their children and grandchildren at the summer cottage. Upon retirement they enjoyed an Alaska cruise and adventure. Carol's close friends and family brought her much joy throughout the years. 

A private family graveside service will be held at Georgetown Township Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Rosewood Reformed Church, 2795 Rosewood St., Jenison. Memorial contributions may be made to Sunset Manor, Jenison, MI.
