Carol Heintzelman

Carol Joanne Heintzelman, age 68, of Jenison, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 15, 2024, and is reunited with her husband, Allen, who preceded her in death one year ago to the day. She was also preceded by her brother, Jim Wielenga. Carol was a loving mother and grandmother who dearly loved and supported her family and was blessed with a heart to serve others. Over the years, she volunteered her time at Street Light Ministries and served at her church in various ways. She had a great love of the outdoors (especially when it was warm!), nature, animals, and had a special fondness for birds. Above all, her commitment and unconditional love for her family was evident to all who knew her. Carol will lovingly remembered by her children, Scott and Laura Heintzelman, Lucinda Heintzelman, Michelle Heintzelman, Heather and Dave Potter, and Chad Heintzelman; grandchildren, Owen, and Emmet Heintzelman, Drew, Collin, and Avery Osborn, Carter, and Lily Heintzelman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cecil and Marilyn Heintzelman, Bob and Zorine Heintzelman, Judy Bateman, Gary Heintzelman, Jim and Patricia Heintzelman, Tom and Jayne Heintzelman, Maedy Wielenga; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 6651 Scott St., Allendale, with Pastor Jesse Cabrera officiating. Entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
