Carol E. Ronk, aged 71 of Allendale, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 29, 2015. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Loralee; sister, Charlene Swan; and parents, Doris and Charles Stirdivant. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jerry; children, Debra and Douglas Flagg, Brenda and Clint Edges; grandchildren, Eric and Becky Flagg, Nathan and Melissa Flagg, Shelby Westlake, Sydney Westlake; great-grandson, Dominic Flagg; brothers, Larry Stirdivant, Ray Stirdivant; and many nieces and nephews. Carol was a preschool teacher at St. John Vianney and also worked as a nurse at Kent Community Hospital. Funeral services for Carol will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Fr. Phil Shangraw officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12-1 pm prior to the service.
