Carol Buist

Carol A. Buist, age 76, of Allendale, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Dale Buist Sr.; daughter, Debra Cohen; siblings, Alice Walters, and Howard Sall. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dale Jr. (Colleen) Buist, Dan (Karen) Buist, Doug Buist; son-in-law, Dave Cohen; six grandchildren, Justin (Theresa), Christopher, Patrick (Michelle), Alexandria, Carrington, and Nicholas; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Al Sall, Vern (Sally) Sall, Ron (Janet) Sall, Marcia Weeks; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf, 6651 Scott St., Allendale, with Rev. Aaron Vriesman officiating. The burial will be held at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, December 28, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or to Susan G. Komen West Michigan.
