Carol Ann Miller

Carol Ann Miller, age 79, of Grand Rapids, went home to her heavenly Father

on Friday, March 14, 2025, after a long battle with COPD.  She was born to Kenneth and Natalie Schmidt in Grand Rapids.  She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed cooking, crafting, sewing, flowers, and birds.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Terry; children: Mike (Lisa) Miller, Ann (Rick) Merren; grandchildren: Bret (Rhiannon) Miller, Matt (Megan) Miller, Samantha Miller, Ryder Dermody, Craig Dermody; Mackenzie Merren (fiance, Michael Skrocki), Zachary Merren; great granddaughter, Taytum Merren; siblings: Mary Hagstrom, Joseph Schmidt; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: James (Sandy) Miller, Tom Miller, Deb (Gary) Wayer, Mike (Janet) Sepanik; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Brenda; parents; siblings, Kenneth Schmidt, Barb Schmidt.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2350 44th St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Rob Schmidt officiating.  Burial will be held at Holy Corners Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to  Christ Lutheran Church.
