Carol Ann DeKam

Carol Ann DeKam, age 75, of Grandville, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 as she was surrounded by her family and went to be with her Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don DeKam, granddaughter, Melissa Decator, and brother, Ronald Riker. Surviving are her children, Cheri Mathis, Lori and Gabe Perez, Jay Duimstra, Jeff Duimstra, Terri and Steve Huisman, Dawn Seese, Brenda and Steve Cole; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Donna Huffman, David and Dawn Huffman, Cindy and Ron Holstein, Richard and Allison Huffman, Janice and Don Bosch, Mari Jo and Tom Bakale. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29 11:00 am at Ivanrest Christian Reformed Church, 3777 Ivanrest SW, Grandville Michigan with Rev. Tony Meyer officiating. Interment Robbins Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
