I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Carl was such a wonderful and kind man. Growing up in Caledonia our families had that "small town" connection where we knew who we could rely on. We could always count on the Church family. He left a legacy of wonderful people and I'm grateful and honored to know many of you. My sincere condolences.

Aunt Bernie, Jim, Cherie, and Carls family. Melissa and I send our deepest sympathies. I remember meeting Carl years ago, and walking away with a good feeling. You could tell he and Aunt Bernie were perfect together. He was a genuine and good person who always had a smile on his face. He will be missed.

My last uncle, Carl had such a hearty laugh. He was quite a serious card player as well. I recall one time at Montcalm Lake a group of serious poker players got together. I thought I could join them and keep up. Ha! Carl had no mercy on this little novice. He was in it to win. Sleep well.
