Carlos Luis Medina Sr.

​Carlos Luis Medina, Sr., age 60, was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, March 20, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eladdia Parrilla, uncle, Antonio Quinones and cousin, Janet Odelin, and the ZAMBRANA Family. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Doris; parents; Miguel (Carol) Quinones and Maria Melendez, children; Carlos Luis (Amber) Medina, Jr., Bethsaida (Ronell Robinson) Medina, Brenda (Emy) Coriano, Zenaida Medina, Yajaira (Chad) Clement, Yamilex Medina, 15 grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Juan Medina, David (Sandra) Medina, Brenda McGriff, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Carlos was a gentle, kind, compassionate man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to work on cars, fish for salmon, listen to “Salsa” music, and drink coffee with family and friends. Carlos was self-employed due to a disability and being diabetic. Due to COVID, a private time of visitation for family only will take place Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 31 at 12:00 pm at Faith Church of Grand Rapids, 953 Spencer NE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Michael and Tami Keller officiating. Burial at Restlawn Memorial Park.
