PIIPPO - Carl Edward Piippo, age 92, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Piippo; daughter, Lyn Applebee; brothers, Ossian (Elizabeth) Piippo, Paul Piippo; sisters, Jean (Raymond) Weiss, Esther (Robert) Horton. Carl is survived by his daughter, Laura (Norman Webster) Piippo M.D.; son-in-law, Michael Applebee; grandchildren, Courtney (John) Czernel, Benjamin Applebee, Katelyn Applebee; great grandchildren, John and Jude. A celebration of Carl's life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive N.E., Belmont, MI 49306. His family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.
