Obituary

Remembering Carl Jay Perrin

Carl Jay Perrin of Comstock Park passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, surrounded by love. Carl was reunited in heaven with his family members who preceded him in death, his parents, Carl (Sr.) and Donna Perrin, and brother, Randy Perrin.
He will be dearly missed by the love of his life of 33 years, Mary Jo Perrin; daughter, Jenny (Chad) Wellman; son, Jake (Sarah) Perrin; 8 grandchildren and 4 brothers along with many nieces, nephews and friends who were like family to Carl.
Carl was an incredibly talented and complex Christian man with a lifelong passion of graphic design and artistry. He found immense joy in creating unique apparel, signage, and clothing that many people would wear and display with pride.
He loved fast cars and the thrill of the casino and sometimes just hanging out with friends and family playing cards and listening to Rock & Roll.
Carl and Mary built a life they loved together from businesses to home design, Las Vegas trips, to spending quiet time at home together feeding and watching the birds. Their love could always be seen wherever their adventures took them, but Carl often told Mary she was his greatest adventure.
His contagious smile and laugh warmed many hearts.
Carl will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and the beautiful memories he left us with we will forever cherish. Until we meet again, rest in peace Carl Jay. We love you.
Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday, April 18 from 10-11:30 am at MKD Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, with a Memorial service immediately following the visitation at 11:30 am. The family has requested that the burial be held privately.

I found out recently that Carl had passed. I'm so sorry to hear that and I send love and prayers to his son, Jake, his daughter, Jenny and their families. We all had so much fun and laughs back in the day. So many house parties on Plett and 76th Street, good music and laughter. Thanks Carl for the memories my friend.

Carl: I'm grateful that you and Mary befriended me 13 years ago. You've always been a great friend to me. Thank you! Rest well my friend. Until we meet.. watch over us, please. Love you, Carl.

I will always have good memories of Carl. He was a genuinely nice and very generous person who cared about his employees, his friends, and his family. As a neighbor to his business, we couldn't have asked for a nicer neighbor or a more welcoming location, but that was Carl and Mary - that was, and is, how they ran their business, and we've certainly appreciated it over last 36 years.
