Carl David Russo Jr., age 29, of Wyoming, was unexpectedly called to his heavenly home on Monday, July 29, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph Thomas Russo and his maternal grandparents, Ruby Marlene and Frederick William Strickland.  He will be greatly missed by his parents, Carl and Gail Russo; siblings, Lee and Kristi Russo, Angela and Jordon Karsies; grandmother, Lorraine Hyacinth Russo; several nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Emily and Gary; and many other special friends. Carl was a popular, well-loved man who was very busy helping others and was always willing to lend a hand for his family and friends.  He was hard working and thoroughly enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Carl was a loving and caring son and brother and enjoyed making friends wherever he went. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from noon-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
