Calvin G. Klaver, age 87, of Jenison, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Agatha Klaver; brothers and sisters, Corny, Gladys, Henry, and Agnes. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Vicki Klaver; sons, Bryan Klaver, Kurt Klaver, Chad and Monica Klaver, Chris Klaver; stepchildren, Jason, Tim, Eric and Christine; grandchildren, Alivia, Paige, Rebekah, and Colten; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calvin proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Keith Bergquist officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Rivertown Assembly of God.
