Buzz Holtvluwer, age 66, of Conklin passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and June Holtvluwer. Buzz will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Niter; children, Honesty and Nathan Lee, Shayn and Emily Holtvluwer, Jason and Keri Beuschel; grandchildren, Sophie Lee, Nathan Lee II, Amelia Lee, Sienna (PJ) Holtvluwer, Wesley Holtvluwer; siblings, Lynne and Dale Harpst, Clutch and Dawn Holtvluwer, Jan and Jeff Lehman; Niter’s family, Pat and Doug Feringa, Deb Wind, Cheryl Wind, Harold and Sandy Wind, Lori and Kevin Splese; extended family and friends. Buzz was a co-owner of Standale Lumber where he enjoyed helping his customers. He loved spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors. His sense of humor and helpfulness will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Coopersville Reformed Church, 423 W. Randall, Coopersville 49404 with Rev. Steve VanderWoude officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, January 4 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. An additional hour of visitation will be held beginning at 10 am on Friday prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Re-Building Fund-Children’s Area (church burned down April 2, 2022) of First Reformed Church of Ravenna, 3341 Mortimer St., Ravenna 49451 or online giving on the Vanco mobile app (enter First Reformed Church of Ravenna).
