Burdena Lou Troyer

Burdena “Bernie” Lou Troyer, age 88, of Jenison, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2022. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Orrie Bennett; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Bernie Schipper; and brother-in-law, David York. She enjoyed traveling, but especially spending time with her beloved family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Elden “Al” Troyer; children, Sandy and Gene DeWitt, Kathy and Robb Alberda, Mark and Dawn Troyer, Beth and Bill Henderson, Todd Troyer; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Arlene York. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Tom Couch and Pastor Rich McCarrell officiating. A recording of the service will be available for viewing on the funeral home website. Burial Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10-11 am prior to the service on Friday. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
