Bruce Thomas Andrews

Bruce Thomas Andrews, age 62, of Kentwood passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Together with his wife, Cathi, they enjoyed life to the fullest and she took great care of him through the years. Bruce had a very special bond with his daughter, Haley. He also deeply valued his friendships. A few of his best qualities were forming connections or lending a helping hand. He always knew someone who could help with any need, saying “I got a guy for that!”. As an outdoorsman, hunting and fishing were his passions. Bruce was a guy that could talk to anyone and make friendships anywhere he went. Many will remember him for his smile, antics and personality that had the ability to light up a room. He will be greatly missed for his selflessness, sense of humor and love for his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Andrews. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Cathi; daughter, Haley and son-in-law, JS Bleau; anticipated future grandchild in August; mother, Mary Andrews; brother, Theodore Frank Jr. (Linda) Andrews; sisters-in-law, Karen (James) Maxim, Sandy (Randy) Randazzo, Connie Neason; many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 24, at 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The National Kidney Foundation.
