SHERD - Mr. Bruce W. Sherd aged 59 of Comstock Park, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 3, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Rosemarie; their children, Bruce (Amy) Sherd Jr., Sheila Johnson, Regina (Brian) Borowicz; his mother, Dorothy Sherd; grandchildren, Ashley Borowicz, Brandon and Chloe Johnson; sisters, Barbara (Wayne) Ogger, Bonnie (James) Roede; several nieces and nephews. Bruce was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Rockford. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Saturday September 10, 2011 at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 4610 Belding Rd NE, Rockford with Pastor Tim Gauger and Pastor Jon Klein officiating. His family will greet relatives and friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont. Interment Blythefield Memory Gardens.
