Remembering Bruce Broene
Bruce Allen Broene, age 72, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. He was preceded in death by his daughter, MaryBeth Broene. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Martha Susanne Broene; children and grandchildren, Teresa and Jeff Stevens (Chandler and Allison, Riley, Cooper, Yordanos, Parker and Allie, Ethan, Arianna, Yeabsira, Kadence, Chaisley, Haven), Tom and Molly Broene (Blake, Lucy), Tim and Krista Broene (Emma, Brielle, Behr); sister, Diane and Dale Marsman; sister-in-law, Dorothy Broene; in-laws, Edna Hines, Tom and Claire Hines, Don and Sandy Hines; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bruce was a General Motors retiree. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He had a love for animals and spending time outside or tinkering in the garage. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor John Delger officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, October 6, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassion International or Families Through Adoption.
