Brian Charles Singleton, born June 6, 1938 went to be with the Lord  on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Kathleen; brother, Leo; sisters, Donna and Kathleen. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Barbara; his children, Cindy and Craig Meyer, David Singleton, Cheryl and Mike Namie; grandchildren, Ben and Barbara Meyer, Kyle and Jena Meyer, Brandon, Siena and Mitchell Namie; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Colton, Lance and Ava; brother, Roger Singleton; along with many nephews and nieces, including his special godson, John; and even more friends. Brian proudly served his country in the United States Army. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 6 at 11 am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1213 - 52nd St SE, Kentwood,  with Fr. Peter Vu celebrant. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, December 5 from 5-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, and from 10-11 am Friday at the church. A Rosary service will be held 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Disabled American Veterans or to Faith Hospice in memory of Brian.
