Brian Jason Talley, age 45, of Caledonia Michigan, passed away on June 22, 2022. Brian was a devoted, loving husband and cherished his wife Amy and his daughters Audrey and Avery. Nothing meant more to him than his “Three A’s.” Brian proudly served and loved his country with honor and distinction. He was an exceptional leader and was held in high esteem among all with whom he served. Brian rose to the rank of Captain during his military career. During Brian’s civilian life his career flourished, and he earned a graduate degree from The Ross School of Business at The University of Michigan. He was most recently employed with Purity Cylinder Gases Inc. as an engineering sales consultant in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A close friend and brother to so many, he developed and fostered deep relationships among all who knew him and was the consummate connector who brought his friends together. I have many cherished memories of our families being next door neighbors for many years in Chelsea. My favorite tradition started by the Talleys was going outside on the front porches to watch storms roll in. I still think of each of you every time I take a few precious moments to carry on this tradition. Deepest condolences and much love, Heather Hopkins

Brian and I played high school football together. We met when we were in 9th grade and he instantly had my respect. Not from anything he said but just how he carried himself. Over those next 4 years as I got to know him my respect for him only grew. I was so proud of him for getting into West Point. And as followed his journey through Facebook he seemingly continued to live happy family in which he loved his family deeply. Everything I expected that 9th grade kid to be. My condolences to his entire family.

Amy and family - I am so, so sorry to hear of this terrible news. Brian was always the most positive, energetic leader...and a friend to everyone he knew. I knew him well from our days at West Point and, since graduation, only saw him at our 20 year reunion, but it was the easiest of "catching up" with Brian - like no time was spent apart. I have no words for you all other than my family and I send our love, thoughts, and prayers to help get through this time....I pray that Brian is at peace and I know that he will always be watching over you all as your guardian angel. - Ryan Wilson (West Point '99)
