Brent Daryl Brinkman

Brent Daryl Brinkman, age 70, of Wyoming, was called home to be with his heavenly father on Sunday, January 16, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Beryl Brinkman; and his grandparents. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Karen Brinkman; children, Jeff Brinkman, Jeanie and Scott Smith; grandson, Trevor Smith; siblings, Brad and Karen Brinkman, Barbara Clark, Bev and Jeff Schweitzer; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Brent was born and raised in Lansing, Illinois. He loved watching his grandson play baseball and football, enjoyed golfing, and loved watching the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. Brent worked for many years and retired from Cracker Barrel where he made many friends. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, 2 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Adam Peck officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Juvenile Diabetes and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Research.
