Bonnie Gietzen

Bonnie Jean Gietzen, age 79, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 13, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Allen; daughter, Vicky and Mark Boillat; grandsons, Craig Boillat, Derek and Brooklynne Boillat; brothers and sister: Bill and Bev Shaw, Larry and Julie Shaw, Jim and Bonnie Shaw, Joanne and Walt Heim; many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Donna Shaw; brother and sister, Henry and Shirley.  Bonnie retired after 36 years from Keebler. She had a passionate love for her family and also enjoyed cards, bingo, and spending time at casinos.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
