NEWSOME- Mrs. Billie Joy Newsome aged 71, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Newsome; her daughters, Darlene Joy Thomas & Christine Mae Thomas; sister, Judith Rozeboom & mother, Bernadine Swinger. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cheryl (Joseph) Rehmatullah, Belinda (Randy) Miller & Ricki Kaye (Jason) Bremer; her grandchildren, Amber (Chris), Sarah, Hollie (Andrea), Brittani, Trina, Kevin (Trista), Brandon, Breanna, Stephanie (Mike), Bradlee (Trevor), Marc, Zachary & Michaela; 19 great grandchildren; her sister, Margaret Baker; her brother, Ted (Connie) Swinger. Her family will greet relatives and friends on Monday October 5, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont. Visitation will conclude with a sharing of stories and scripture at 6:45 PM. Memorial contributions in her memory may be left with the funeral chapel to help offset expenses.
