Beverly Hammond

Hammond - Beverly Jean Hammond, age 86, passed from this life into the presence of the Lord Tuesday, November 3rd. Her deep trust, love, and commitment to God were demonstrated in all aspects of her life. For anyone who knew Beverly- selfless, gentle, positive, and hospitable are a few words that just begin to describe her vibrant life. As a faithful pastor’s wife for many years, Beverly was always inviting and caring for strangers and family alike. From countless ice cream options to a game of Skip-Bo or Rummikub, Beverly loved hosting and serving in her home. If you ever needed to purchase a gift for her, any type of chocolate was a home run! Her generous heart poured out through thousands of handwritten cards, delicious meals, and special birthday traditions. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Pastor Harvey Hammond. Beverly is survived by her children, Jeannie (David) Davis, Dan (Sherri) Hammond, Nancy Hammond, Sandy (Brian) Newhall; grandchildren, Tonya (Nolan) Butler, Nathan (Jennifer) Saam, Jon Saam, David Davis, David (Lisa) Hammond, Sarah (Luke) Meyle, Hannah (Stephen) Harrison, Gabriel Hammond, Anna Hammond, Abby Hammond, Isaiah Hammond, Dyson Hammond, Ashley (Zandro) Guerrero, Ben Newhall; great grandchildren, Sidney, Penny, Amelia, James, Sophie.
