Betty Overbeek, age 88, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 29, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norm “Doc” Overbeek; and brother, John Morsink. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bill and Irene Overbeek, Dave and Donna Overbeek, Karen and Bruce Sterk, Mary and Jim Greydanus; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Belder; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 5, at 11 a.m. at Ivanrest Christian Reformed Church, 3777 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Brandon Haan officiating. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, September 4, from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. and on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
