Betty Lucille Miller

Betty Lucille Miller, age 88, of Comstock Park, went to her heavenly home on Monday, June 27, 2022. She worked at general motors for over 27 years. Anyone that knew Betty was drawn to her loving spirit and caring soul. She had a generous heart and loved to send cards for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and especially support those who were ill or in need. Some of Betty’s favorite pastimes included spending time with her family, watching the Detroit Tigers and canning salsa and jams. She will be remembered for her love of cooking. If anyone stepped into her home she made sure they left well fed by making their favorite meal or her “famous” Texas sheet cake. She will be greatly missed for her love and dedication to her family and generosity towards others. She was preceded in death by her parents and was the last surviving of her 9 brothers and sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Clark “Bob” Miller; children, Vivian (Steve) Hull, Char Olson, Charlie (Laurie) Miller, Darlene “Ding” (Randy) Parrish, Jennifer (Scott) Hankamp; grandchildren, Sondra (Mike) Moody, Shannon (Ryan) Hull-Boland, Zach (Kasey) Olson, Alicia (Ben) Kleyn, Katie Miller, Christopher Miller, Bryce Hankamp; 10 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11 am at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Burial will take place at Englishville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, June 30 from 4-8:00 pm at the funeral home as well as an hour prior to the service on Friday.
