Betty Jean Brouwer

Betty Jean Brouwer, age 91, of Allendale, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerrit Brouwer, Jr.; parents, Henry and Gertrude Geerdes; and son-in-law, John Daling. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Diane and Dick Wynsma, Karen and James DeHorn, Gary and Mary Brouwer, Ronald and Nancy Brouwer, Carla and Dennis Radford, Harlan and Michele Brouwer; grandchildren, Scott Daling, Kyle DeHorn, Michael Daling, Kristyn Smith, Shelley Roossien, Kurtis DeHorn, Laura Little, Jessica Quist, Brandon Brouwer, Chandler Brouwer; sixteen great grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Mulder, Marian Geerdes; many nieces and nephews. Betty was a faithful servant of the Lord and a devoted wife and mother. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 11am at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th Ave., Hudsonville.  Interment Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale, and from 10-10:45 am at church on Saturday.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
