Betty Green

Green – Betty Lou Green aged 87 of Holland passed away peacefully at home Friday, January 29, 2021. Betty was an angel on Earth; who loved her family and spending time together. She was preceded in death by her, husbands, Ray Simmons, Frank Green Sr; father, Charles McBrian; birth mother, Hazel McBrian; mother, Annabelle McBrian; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine (Frank) Bryan; nephew, Frank Bryan Jr., sister, Norma Elder; brothers, Dan McBrian, Don McBrian, Charles McBrian Jr.; daughter, Sue Anne Lindemann; son-in-law, Karl Schipper. Betty is survived by her children, Sheryl (Patrick) Kiley, Raymond (Sandi) Simmons, Joan Schipper, Cathy (Randy) Potter, Carol Simmons, Dan Hirth, Paul (Karen) Blum, John Blum, Yolanda Sellers, Frank Green Jr., Christina Green, Danny Thomas Green, Pearl Ann Peters; special friend who was a like a daughter, Marcy (Mike) Powell; 25 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Sally (Curt) Mulder.  A heartfelt thank you to Hospice of Holland from Betty’s family for the wonderful loving care of their mother. Betty’s family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30AM to 11:00AM on Thursday February 4, 2021 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel – Wyoming 3131 S. Division Ave. At 11:00 AM private family services will be held due to COVID restriction and capacity limits, those attending have been notified.   Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Holland.
