Betty Coger

Betty Ann Coger, age 88, of Grandville, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Georgetown Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth Lloyd Coger; her parents, Lester and Ethel Zandbergen; brother, Bill Zandbergen, and sister, Beverly Grace. Betty is survived by her children, Michael and Sheryl Coger, Cheryl and Marv DeVries; grandchildren, Stacia DeVries, Janelle and David Tahtinen, Meredith and Kirk Manchip; sister, Bonnie VanOost; sister-in-law, Beverly Jean (Jim) Shillington. Her family and friends were everything to her, and she was grateful for each and every one of them. She was a kind and gracious soul who loved walking with her sister, Bonnie. She

especially enjoyed competing in the speed walk across the Mackinac Bridge. Going for “a ride” with Ken, game nights, Mother’s Day celebrations with morel
mushroom hunting “up north”, and Tiger’s baseball were favorites activities. A private graveside service will be held at Grandville Cemetery with Rev. Bob Huisman officiating. Betty, Mom, Grandma, youare loved and missed and will forever be in our hearts and memories.
