Boersma, Betty Betty Boersma, age 71, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 9.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Andrea Keuning; grandson, Frederick Glenn Gehrke. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Fred;  children Brenda and Randy Gehrke, Denise and Mike Grassmid; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Jerry and Wilma Keuning, John Keuning; brother in law, Ken Boersma. Funeral services will be held on Monday, 11:00 am   at Hillside Community Church 1440 - 68th St. SW with Pastor Ron Kool and Pastor Daniel Bud officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family from 5-8 pm Sunday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home 4646 Kalamazoo Ave.  and 10-11 am Monday at the church.  Interment Chapel Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to  The Diabetes Association.
