Bernice (DeBaar) Wing, age 82, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2025, with her family by her side. Bernie worked for over 30 years at the ShopRite in Wyoming where she made many friendships. She will be loved and missed by many and our memories of her will be forever in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Jim (Herbert) Wing, sister, Joan Kilmer; and sister-in-law, Beverly DeBaar. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Rhonda and Dan Buck, Nancy Walthorn; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Maddie and Matt Dehn (Hayley, Avery), Courtney and Justin Betts, Amy Buck and Luke Malavolti (Gabriel, Harper, Charlotte, Luke); brothers and sister, Gary and Carol DeBaar, Gordon “Punk” DeBaar, Sally and Jeff Terrell; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21, at 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Harry Koops officiating. The burial will take place at Dutton Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 20, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Eighth Reformed Church.
