OOSTERHOUSE - Bernice Oosterhouse of Rockford passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Kooyers; sister, Lois Bartsch. She is survived by her husband, Harlan Oosterhouse; children, Karen (Richard) VandeWater, Judy Haley, Jillaine (Bryan) Bunday, step-son, James Oosterhouse, step-daughter, Kathleen (Tim) Nagelkirk; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 28 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE. Her family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.
